On the first floor of the main building, overlooking the park and the pool, the suite Marie Galante is both spacious and bright. Its decoration highlights natural materials: headboard and bedside tables made with eucalyptuswood, raffia and wicker light fixtures, wool carpets…
The anecdote… At Villa beldi’s, this room is also called ‘the King’s room’. His Majesty Mohammed VI, the present King of Morocco, stayed here during his first visit to Essaouira as a monarch. On this occasion, He had ordered a lot of decoration and fit-out works in the Villa.
